Dear Bill,

Good afternoon, I hope you have been doing well since we last spoke. I know I have been under the radar lately but I just wanted to say thank you and give you a little update on my life !

I want to start off first by thanking you for always being a great support system both through phone calls/emails and in silence through the last quarter of my college career and now my professional career. You have given me the strength to believe in myself and step out of my comfort zone, to stand my ground and know that I can do what I set my mind to. I am thankful everyday for the lessons you taught us all in MGMT 110, it was easily my favorite class I took at UC Irvine, even though I was constantly stressing about presenting the second I walked through those double doors! You taught us what the real world is like, and nothing is ever certain. After graduating we stayed in touch and you gave me the best pointers on how to stand out in my interview for a buyer position at Walmart eCommerce! After making that position paper, I walked into that interview confident and blew them away with what you had taught me.

Fast forward to now, I am about to start my 4th week of work for Walmart in San Francisco! I am officially placed in the baby department and will in charge of buying baby stroller and car seat accessories for all of Walmart eCommerce!

I am still in the training process and will be for the next 3 weeks to follow, the training program here is very extensive but one of the best training I've ever received. The company culture here is very inclusive and understanding, I love the fact that my coworkers come from all across the country and no to people are the same. Although I am still getting my feet wet, I have greatly enjoyed the time I have had with the company so far.

Thank you for making this past year of my life the most challenging and eye opening year so far. I can't wait to see what's in store for my future, and what doors will open up for me in the next few years. I sure hope they lead me back to Los Angeles haha.

I hope you are doing well, praying for your health and happiness, hope this year is filled with positivity for you and your loved ones.

Best Regards,
